Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why you should use perfumes?

Nobody likes to smell bad! People instinctively avoid people who smell bad, or talk to them less or physically avoid them. Think how many times you've avoided someone just because of their smell? Whether you're looking to expand your social circle or get a date (or both), wearing a fragrance that matches the weather allows you to smell good and attract more social interaction. Wearing fragrances with your clothes to make you look good and smell good to others is sure to enhance social interaction, and more compliments are always a good confidence booster! Not to mention that it can be a good ice-breaker conversation starter! "Perfume is the art that makes memory sound." - Francis Kurkdjian It's not uncommon for a scent to evoke a specific memory, such as a magical moment of deja vu. I'm sure some scents do the same to you! When you wear a particular fragrance to a special event, or when you wear a particular fragrance while creating a memory, you are in control to some extent. Why don't you create memories to remember when you smell that scent? Life is too short, be in control!

  • Where should I spray the perfume?

Blow on the pulse points, on the neck. You can also use the pulse points on your arm. Perfume should only be applied to the skin. We recommend using perfume after showering/bathing (when your skin is generally fresh).

  • How durable are our perfumes?

On average they last 8-14+ hours, but it depends a lot on your skin type and also on the perfume you choose, its strength and how your skin reacts to it.

  • The smell of perfume can change?

In the long run, yes, it could happen. Since everything has an expiration date, so does perfume. Once poured, it must be used within 2 years for full effect.

  • Perfume should wear after I receive it?

Aging is a huge topic and depends on a lot of things. First of all, it depends on how long the fragrance company kept its creations before release and when they were mixed. Hot and cold temperatures can change it, but a lot can happen in transit, and some perfumes are too exposed to the sun in transit. 99% of the time, Nichery Fragrances fragrances do not need to mature as we always put them on their side to mature before we sell them. If you get a scent and think it needs more time, keep it in a dark place and let it sit for a few weeks/months, testing it occasionally, until you think the scent is perfect.

  • Why does the perfume smell different than in the bottle or on the paper or on my skin?

Imagine sitting in your room with your friends, and one of your friends sweats more, another has more acne, one has softer skin, while they have more fat or muscle under their skin. You think that the scent will stay the same on everyone's skin and project the same? Actually, no! As unique people, we are all different and so is our skin. Some fragrances are crazy good on one skin and smell amazing, while on another skin it won't be the same. This is the sad truth. I was very sad when I tested 'Ibiza', it didn't smell like what I imagined it to smell like on my skin. I gave my friend a scent to try and it was a completely different story. It lasted 12+ hours and smelled amazing. We have to face the fact that not all scents suit us. This is why when you smell the fragrance on paper, it may not be the same as it is on your skin. Smelling the fragrance in liquid form means smelling the oils suspended in alcohol. In the alcoholic suspension, the oils cannot fully oxidize, so when smelled in liquid form, the fragrance does not smell "full". This is why stores ask you to spray on a tester strip of paper as a base for the fragrance.
